When Kristveig was visiting, we decided the proper patriotic thing to do was to go and see the Icelandic band Sigur Ros playing in concert. I showed up in my Icelandic t-shirt that Jarrad had custom made for me at Christmas and immediately attracted the attention of two young Icelandic boys who had flown in from Thailand to see the performance.
And what a performance it was! A light show, a sound show, punk show, displays of strange HK crowd. Sigur Ros really brought out of the woodworks some strange personalities you normally dont encounter in HK. And the normal boring us of course, intrigued at the back row but not particularly blown away. Nice enough though, but slightly upsetting having to pay more to see them than Bon Jovi in June.
Cant wait for that one!
